LaCROSSE, WI — A preliminary autopsy report does not indicate any signs of criminal activity in the death of a Hortonville native in Minnesota.
That conclusion in the death of Elliote Heinz is released today by LaCrosse Police.
The 22-year-old Heinz went missing Sunday. Her body was recovered Wednesday from the Mississippi River about 13-miles from LaCrosse.
The investigation remains open and final autopsy results are not expected for several months.
