Per a statement from the city of Oshkosh, the City Clerk has now received payment of property taxes from the Oshkosh Arena ownership group. Fire code violations previously cited have not been corrected as of yet. The arena’s liquor license is still suspended.

OSHKOSH, Wis–The Oshkosh Arena is behind on its property taxes again. This week, the Arena posted on its social media accounts that Friday night’s Foghat concert was being postponed due to an “unforeseen event”.
An email from the city confirms that the Arena’s liquor license has not been renewed due to delinquent property taxes, and a lack of police and fire inspections. The Oshkosh Common Council approved renewal of the liquor license on July 11th, with a requirement that fees be paid.
Slow payment of property taxes has been an issue with the Arena ownership group before and after its bankruptcy in 2020.
