OSHKOSH, Wis. — Oshkosh police arrest a 17-year-old boy in connection with a Saturday shooting incident that left a man injured.
The suspect was arrested Sunday in the 1200 block of W. 12th Avenue. He’s being held on multiple charges, including first-degree attempted homicide.
Officers were dispatched to an area of Central Street and W. Irving Avenue just before 2 p.m. for reports of gunshots. Officers found a 20-year-old man with a gunshot wound and learned that he’d been shot in the 600 block of Franklin Street. The victim was taken to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Oshkosh police say the shooting appears to be an isolated incident between two people.
The case remains under investigation.
