The classic Jane’s Addiction lineup of Perry Farrell (vocalist), Dave Navaro (guitarist), Stephen Perkins (drummer), and Eric Avery (bassist) have released their first new single in 34 years. The track is called “Imminent Redemption” is available on all streaming platforms.
The band recorded the track at Sweetzerkand Studios in Hollywood, California, and said of the experience:
“It is different this time. To have everyone back together, releasing new music. It’s time. Welcome to the next chapter of Jane’s Addiction. ‘Imminent Redemption’ is only the beginning.”
The video for the song comes 2 months after Jane’s Addiction debuted the track at a May 23rd London concert.
While there’s no word on a full album, Jane’s is scheduled to hit the road for a co-headlining tour with Love & Rockets. That tour stops at the BMO Harris Pavilion in Milwaukee on Sunday, September 22nd.
