APPLETON, Wis–Appleton residents are generally satisfied with their police department. Appleton Police release the results of their 2025 Community Survey.

It finds that 73% of respondents view the police department very positively or positively. Nineteen-percent are neutral, while 5% view APD negatively, and 3% very negatively.
The main concerns raised by respondents were traffic issues and drug sales. Fifty-seven percent want the department to increase squad car visibility in their neighborhoods.
