Oasis is BACK!
The band announced a long-awaited reunion tour set to take place in the summer of 2025, which they’re calling, “Oasis Live ‘25.” This is their first time performing together since their headlining show at V Festival in England in 2009. Check out the trailer that they shared for the reunion shows below.
In a tweet, Liam Gallagher wrote, “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”

The first shows of the reunion are set to take place in the UK and Ireland in July and August 2025. Per Consequence, there have been hints that they will play in “continents outside of Europe later next year,” according to a press release. Noel Gallagher also tweeted that the announced shows “will be the band’s exclusive European appearances.” So the possibility of a US tour, or a tour anywhere besides Europe, is still up in the air.
Oasis is one of the most popular Britpop bands of their era. Made up of brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher, they released seven studio albums between 1994 and 2008, before disbanding in 2009 due to some ongoing and very public issues between Noel and Liam. Two of their most popular albums include Definitely Maybe and (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?.
A reunion seemed highly unlikely since their split. The brothers would go at it in the press and on social media, and even clapped back at various celebrities that commented on it. For example, when Dave Grohl suggested they get back together, Noel told him to “wind his f*cking neck in about Oasis.” So yeah, the idea of them reuniting didn’t seem very probable.
In what seems to be a miracle, the hate between the brothers appears to be dissolving.
There was a lot of speculation that a reunion was on the horizon, and when The Sunday Times reported that it was a high possibility, Liam fueled the rumors by writing back on Twitter, “See you down the front you big fanny.” And it was not long after that that the band posted a countdown timer, leading many to believe the rumors were true.
And they were right!
