APPLETON, Wis–Organizers of the Downtown Appleton Christmas Parade are warning of fake Facebook accounts. The Parade Committee has been alerted to social media posts promoting events not tied to the parade or giving wrong dates for the parade itself.
Some of the fake posts are asking people to provide their personal information.
